Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium is visited along a single themed route of around 40 tanks, from the freshwater of the Po Delta to the ocean tunnel with sharks and rays. The route is linear and one-way. It starts with freshwater habitats — piranhas and lake fish — then moves through increasingly exotic settings, from the Po Delta to the seas, to the areas devoted to the oceans. The highlight is the ocean tunnel, where sharks and rays swim above visitors’ heads.

Is Gardaland SEA LIFE worth it? Who it suits

Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium suits families with children aged roughly 2 to 12 and anyone looking for an indoor activity of about an hour and a half. It is not a theme park: it is a calm, educational visit, ideal on a rainy day or as a break from a day at Gardaland Park.

With young children

The whole route is indoors and free of steep stairs, with interactive areas at child height. Pushchair access is limited: for infants under 9 kg the aquarium provides free baby carriers.

When the weather changes your plans

It is one of the few attractions on the southern shore of Lake Garda that is fully indoors: on rainy days it becomes the natural plan B compared with beaches and open-air parks.

Who might be disappointed
