Discover the 2026 Lake Garda Air Show programme and boat tours to admire the Frecce Tricolori
The Frecce Tricolori are back on Lake Garda, as tradition dictates! The Lake Garda Air Show will light up the skies over Desenzano del Garda on 5 September 2026, with the dress rehearsal scheduled for Friday 4 September. To experience the display from a privileged vantage point, several lake operators are organising dedicated boat tours, departing from both Desenzano and Sirmione.
Lake Garda Frecce Tricolori programme 2026 – Desenzano del Garda
FRIDAY 4 SEPTEMBER 2026
This is the dress rehearsal. The programme will be identical to Saturday’s, with the exception of the Frecce Tricolori’s smoke trails, which will be white rather than coloured.
SATURDAY 5 SEPTEMBER 2026

Various aircraft formations and solo pilots will perform in the following order:
- HH139A SAR Helicopter – 15th Search and Rescue Wing, Cervia
- UH169A Guardia di Finanza Helicopter
- CAP 10 – aerobatic pilot Paolo Pocobelli
- Pitts Special – aerobatic pilot Francesco Fullin
- Savage – Civil Protection – pilot Fabio Guerra
- CAP 231 – aerobatic pilot Andrea Pesenato
- F35 and Tornado, 6th Wing AM Ghedi – flypast
- 12:00 Frecce Tricolori – 10 MB 339 PAN
The programme may be subject to change, including at the last minute, due to safety or organisational requirements. Saturday’s display will be identical to Friday’s rehearsal, with the addition of the characteristic tricolour smoke trails.
Organised boat tours to watch the Frecce Tricolori on Lake Garda
For the occasion, several Lake Garda operators are organising dedicated boat tours, designed specifically to enjoy the Air Show directly from the water. Each tour has its own route and its own vantage point, but all of them let you experience the display comfortably on board, away from the crowds on shore. Places are limited on every departure, so it’s worth booking ahead.
Air Show del Garda by catamaran from Manerba
Experience the Frecce Tricolori aboard an exclusive catamaran departing from Porto di Dusano, in Manerba del Garda. On board you’ll find shaded areas and comfortable spaces, drinks and an aperitivo, plus one of the best vantage points on the lake for photos and videos. The atmosphere is relaxed, with music and a curated setting so you can enjoy the display in complete comfort. Departures Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026 at 10:00, returning at 13:00. Places are limited.

Frecce Tricolori Boat Tour from Sirmione
Departing from Sirmione (Piazzale Porto) at 11:00 for a scenic tour around the peninsula, with an exclusive stop towards Desenzano del Garda to enjoy the Air Show from the best vantage point on the lake. A glass of sparkling wine is included in the price, to toast the show. The tour lasts around 2 hours and is available in Italian and English. Places are limited.

Frecce Tricolori Boat Tour from Peschiera del Garda
Departing from Peschiera del Garda at 09:30 for a boat tour towards the Gulf of Desenzano, where you’ll watch the Frecce Tricolori display from the lake. Return to Peschiera expected at 13:30.
