Guided Tour and Lugana DOC Tasting at Cà Maiol
Located on the southern shores of Lake Garda, Cà Maiol was founded in 1967 in a farmhouse dating back to 1710, surrounded by historic vineyards where winemaking traditions run deep. The estate offers unique Lugana wine tasting experiences in Desenzano del Garda, inviting guests to discover the aromas and flavors of its 118 hectares of vineyards stretching across Lugana and Valtènesi. The winery has played a leading role in the development of the region and the Lugana D.O.C. Protection Consortium.
Today, Cà Maiol, part of the Herita Marzotto Wine Estates group, combines sustainable farming with state-of-the-art winemaking technology, enhancing delicate varieties such as Turbiana and vinifying each single vineyard separately using a gravity-flow system.
The estate welcomes visitors with guided tours, tastings, and a wine shop for direct purchases, all set within a landscape of vineyards and historic farmhouses.
