Busatte-Tempesta Trail
The Busatte-Tempesta Trail is one of the most popular hiking routes on Lake Garda: a trail perched above the lake that links the Parco delle Busatte, in Torbole sul Garda, with the historic hamlet of Tempesta. The path crosses dense Mediterranean vegetation and climbs two rocky ridges, the Corno di Bò and the Salt de la Cavra, via iron stairways totalling over 400 steps. Classified as easy and suitable for families too, it offers some of the most striking views in the whole of Garda Trentino.

What to see along the way
Corno di Bò and Salt de la Cavra
The two rocky ridges the trail crosses via the iron stairways, among the most spectacular and photographed stretches of the route, with views spanning the entire lake.Tempesta
The small hamlet that gives its name to the second half of the trail. During the Austro-Hungarian era it marked the border with Italy, a historical detail that makes the final stop before the return all the more evocative.Mediterranean vegetation
Dense Mediterranean scrub lines the whole route, with geological, botanical and natural features that also make the trail interesting from an educational point of view.

To reach the starting point, from the Nago roundabout take Via Europa, turn left and then immediately right onto Via delle Brae, then continue along Via delle Busatte to Località Bersagli. Parking is available directly in the Busatte area; alternatively, there are the paid car parks Panorama, Via Strada Granda and Lungolago Conca d’Oro. The main towns of Garda Trentino are also connected by urban and regional bus lines that reach the trail’s access point.
